QA Manager

Based in Sydney, initially, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a major Engineering and Construction Group in the important position of Quality Assurance Manager.

The primary function of the role is to lead continuous improvement in respect of business operations to achieve best practice on a project. You must understand or have a willingness to learn the NSW Road & Traffic Authority's Quality regime.

Qualifications are preferred but not essential, combined with a minimum of five years experience in quality assurance management. Experience/exposure to the engineering/ construction industry is helpful.

You must have a proven ability to ensure that the business complies with ISO standards - ISO 9001 and be able to monitor and review project compliance through the internal reporting system. It is important to communicate well with the National QA & Environment Manager and internally to be able to lead and mentor change in Quality and it's importance. You must have a proven ability to run audits and liaise with third party auditors and client representatives.
