Based in Perth, this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia's leading Engineering and Construction organizations in the important position of Project Director Oil & Gas. This role will also be 2IC to the Manager Oil & Gas.

The primary function of the role is to support the Manager Oil & Gas when he is not available due to his frequent travel, plus assist in the management of existing projects. If major projects are won over the value of $500 million then you will be expected to go to site and deliver the project.

An engineering degree or certificate qualification is required for this role combined with 5 years experience of the last 10 years, working for a Contractor. Overall you must have 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry and a minimum of 10 years experience as a Project Manager.

To be successful in the role you must have strong operational skills with proven abilities in the areas of safety, environment, HR, IR, contracts and project controls. A track record of success in the winning and delivering of projects is required plus all round technical and client management skills.
