Mechanical Project Engineer-Water

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Engineering Contractor in the important position of Mechanical Project Engineer working on DD&C and D&C Projects.

The primary function of the role is to be involved in and assist tendering and estimating support, design and design coordination, documentation preparation, site supervision, commissioning and all standard mechanical engineering for water and wastewater projects. The work is split 50/50 between the office and site.

Essentially you will be degree qualified combined with a minimum 5 years experience including a minimum 2 years exposure to the water/waste water treatment industry. Also required is a working knowledge of waterflow and piping software. A contractor or equipment supplier background is preferred.

Design coordination skills are required with a proven ability to manage and progress the design, and manage the consultants, suppliers and internal staff. Site delivery skills are imperative to your success, with a proven ability to implement the design and supervise the installation.
