Marine Project Manager WA

Based in Western Australia, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a Major Engineering Construction Group in the important position of Marine Project Manager. This position is a "Fly in Fly out" role based from Perth.

The primary function of the role is to deliver a major $1 Billion marine project in Western Australia.

Preferably but not essentially you will be degree or certificate qualified with involvement in at least one major marine project combined with a minimum of 10-12 years marine experience. Some international experience would be helpful, and you must be at a minimum Project Manager or Construction Manager level currently.

Technically, proven marine construction skills are required, with proven experience in managing jackups, barges, heavy lift cranes, and all floating equipment. You must be experienced in managing the superintendents and engineers responsible for them.

Being a Team Player is extremely important in particular working with the Project Director, the Project Controls Manager, and other project support functions  to deliver the project. You must be confident in working with a highly skilled team to find solutions to problems. Safety is a number one priority and an understanding of Industrial Relations is important in Australia.

On a personal level, you must be a leader, a team player, resilient, and technically competent.
