Marine Construction Manager

Based in Sydney, Australia this is a fantastic opportunity to join a Major Engineering Construction Group in the important position of Marine Construction Manager.

The primary function of the role is to be involved in the tendering, winning and managing of Marine Construction projects in Australia. On projects up to $A 300 million in value you will oversee the projects, and on projects over this value you will most likely be site based, and this could be anywhere in Australia.

Preferably you will be degree qualified with involvement in a minimum 6 marine projects including at least one major project. Some international experience would be helpful, and you must be at a minimum Senior Project Manager or Construction Manager level currently.

Technically, proven marine construction skills are required, combined with excellent project management skills in respect of leadership, cost reporting and importantly, an ability to provide innovative construction solutions at the tender stage.

On a personal level, you must be a leader, resilient, and be able to manage and grow the team.

Interviews will be held in London, and possibly other locations if suitable.
