Initially based in Sydney, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term career with one of Australia's leading Engineering Contractors.

The primary function of the role is to manage the execution of projects with a focus on technical issues, OH&S and the Environment. A good understanding of the importance of QA in construction is required, plus the ability to measure and interpret, on a daily basis, the cost of executing various tasks.

You will require a minimum of 10 years experience in a senior site based role, preferably with some exposure to large road or concrete structure projects.

You must have a proven ability to plan the works and communicate your needs to the workers and staff, and be able to review and improve the work economically and safely. A proven understanding of Industrial Relations and the Industrial Relations environment is essential for this role.

The Company fully supports safety. Safe working practices must be instilled in the crews, and you must work with your direct reports to ensure the preparation and implementation of documented and demonstrable safe work systems.
