General Manager Plant Operations Qatar

Based in Qatar, this is a fantastic opportunity to take on the exciting role of General Manager Plant Operations for a new "State of the Art" facility.

The primary function of the role is to be responsible for the overall Plant performance, including the operation, maintenance and administration of the Plant. You will be required to develop the standard operating procedures for all O&M activities plus manage the OPEX and CAPEX budgets.

A degree in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering or equivalent is preferred but not essential. Importantly you must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the management of heavy industrial plant, water or wastewater treatment plants, power plants or similar.

Managing multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams of people is an important part of the role, combined with a proven ability to scope and specify technical engineering solutions for problems. Excellent communication both written and verbal is required to operate at all levels internally and externally in this role.
